Sensors with integrated electronics (DC/DC)
|
Inductive sensors are passive devices (so called AC/AC) that need a (signal conditioning) electronics to operate. In harsh environment applications the electronics is separated from the sensor front end. Often a close collocation of sensor front end and associated signal conditioner is required. In that case the signal conditioner is best integrated into the sensor housing or mounting flange. The signal conditioning electronics is supplied by DC and delivers a displacement-proportional (DC) output signal.
